Here are posts dating back to 2019 on this blog, about eerie similarities between now and the years leading up to the 1994 Rwanda genocide https://cityofangels25.blogspot.com/search?q=Rwanda and considering the way my neighbors are being told by radio and other media to buy weapons, and sometimes to shoot liberals. Not a good sign.

Today the news events are so predictably going in the direction Trump's handlers want everything to go, no point in keeping up anymore. I keep writing the same warnings and Americans just keep blundering along right into anti-American traps. 

In fact when I see how we live and dress and talk and our toothless mouths, USA already resembles Soviet / oligarch run Russia. Trump's one of the oligarchs. 

I'm 75 years old and have been a working journalist and single parent most of my adult life, which means I missed out on a lot of fun, beauty, art, and ... who knows what else, and that's what I'm going to do for a while.
