Argentina heat drought fire info is hard to find as summer approaches in Southern Hemisphere- Heating Planet blog
As Antarctica enters spring, climate scientists predict a massive ice melt near the South Pole next six months, So I went to research how hot it has been in recent years in nearby Argentina. As always I searched YouTube for videos to post at Heating Planet blog, and apparently news reports just stopped about heat and drought in Argentina about 2 years ago. I did find this one report from WION* February 2025 in Buenos Aires summer below. It's 2 mins long, When I search on YouTube there's a stream of reports from 2 years ago about heat and drought in Argentina but if I filter for 1 year ago, there's almost nothing. A Global Times print article is linked at bottom WATCH here reports from 2 years ago that seem to have now stopped and the Feb 25 WION video here: Argentina Struggles With Heatwave | WION Climate Tracker | World News
