SoCal Simi Valley Sep 26 wildfire contained at 66 acres- KNN raw footage 2-min clip- Heating Planet

Firefighters from the Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD) were battling a spreading bush fire near Lost Canyon Drive in Simi Valley Thursday evening. The fire had grown to 25 acres, fueled by medium vegetation, with a slow to moderate rate of spread. As of early Thursday evening, there were no threats to nearby structures, and no evacuation orders had been issued for the area. Around 8:30 p.m., forward progress had been stopped at 66 acres. There were no reports of firefighter or civilian injury. Firefighters remained at the scene to strengthen control lines and mop up areas of heat along the fire perimeter, reported the VCFD on X. The Los Angeles City Fire Department, Orange County Fire Authority, Cal Fire, Simi Valley Police Department, and Ventura County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services (OES) provided assistance to the VCFD during the inciden
