Donald Trump is likely celebrating the writers' strike.

No more late-night comics. The WGA just silenced the only effective media left on the left just as the 2024 election kicks in.

SMH

The writers strike that started May 2 silences the most effective voices against D Trump just as CNN is holding a "town hall" this Sunday for DT hosted by a Tucker Carlson protege. I can't believe the Writers' Guild chose This Time with the 2024 campaign just starting to silence ... the most powerful and widely heard anti-Trump voices. They are striking for same demands they had when they went on strike in 2006. Did it work for them then? incredibly bad timing..

Why now? Why not two years ago or two years from now? Why now?

Reminds me of when Jon Stewart exited Comedy Central in 2015 to make a film in Iran. So during the 2016 campaign we had no Jon Stewart jokes about Trump.

CRITICAL

The left just keeps self sabotaging, and I'm getting scared.

The coup against USA is winning. Nothing else matters in USA now but stopping the coup.

Reminds me of 2015 when Jon Stewart suddenly left Comedy Central to make a movie in Iran. Conveniently that strong voice of trump criticism was silenced.

The most  effective voices against D Trump are now silenced by a TV writers' strike just as CNN does a "town hall" for DT hosted by a Tucker C protege who started her career on The Daily Caller. SMH

once again I'm saying something no one else is saying or agrees with. oh well

The right is able to eliminate one after another every resource the left has. In two more years as Trump takes the oath, I wonder how much better off the WGA members will be?

The guild writers should see their role in the big picture. Smart writers would.

For the same of our nation, don't strike now

So no late-night comedy shows, thanks to the Writers' Strike just as 2024 campaigns start.

Great.

So no late-night comedy news reporting... how convenient for the right wing...

The timing for the WGA strike that just started is terrible for our nation, or what's left of it. Late night comedy is almost the only place left where Americans get real news in network TV. Now late night comedy is silenced.

It's so sad to see Democrats and Progressives self destruct.

They are striking for same demands they had when they went on strike in 2006. Did it work for them then? I know that TV writers are getting screwed but I wish they would be more conscious of the important role they play THIS YEAR in countering the Trump coup. PLUS I doubt all the people all over the country who lost jobs or businesses last few years and have to start over from scratch are going to sympathize with the WGA.

WHY STRIKE NOW as the presidential election is starting and the Whole Nation needs those late-night voices to counter Trump?

Every day another shoe drops in the behind the scenes battle to put Trump back in White House. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!!!

the coup is winning. nothing else matters in USA now but stopping the coup

Otherwise, in two years we'll be talking about how this WGA strike helped Trump get reelected.

Donald Trump is likely celebrating the writers' strike.

No more late-night comics. WGA just silenced the only effective media left on the left. SMH

A WGA strike now makes as much sense as the LA City Council voting for holidays and festivals after the mayor declared homelessness an emergency. We are in the  middle of a crisis

It's like AI robots are running everything, clueless to what is happening in real time to real people, pre-programmed and mindlessly going forward.

WHY STRIKE NOW as the presidential election is starting and the Whole Nation needs those late-night voices to counter Trump?

I thought writers were supposed to be smart!
