QUICK TRANSCRIPT:
S: Malcolm, you were getting attacked by the
right wing, they're trying to discredit anyone connected with the Russia story,
now T saying it might have been China on Face the Nation over the weekend.Any
thoughts on T now saying it was China that hacked the election?
M: What?
Holy cow, where do I begin . I'm literally at a loss for words. The company Cloud Strike that was brought in
by the U.S. government to do the analysis of the DNC hack, while the hack was
going on, were literally watching files move from the folders up to servers in
Moscow at Russian military intelligence headquarters.
The thing we won’t
say is that the NSA monitors these things real time. All a President has to do is ask the admirals
to come in and brief him to know here’s where servers are, here’s where the
files are.
The U.S.
intelligence community does not do this for fun. They do this to defend you. And the way to defend the nation is to
believe what the U.S. intelligence community tells you.
S: [refers to Guardian and other articles comingout now that Trump organization may have paid for the hacking to begin with]
M: I'm not sure how much credibility to put into
that, I come from the community of intelligence into evidence. A lot of crazy stuff out there looks
awesome. I exercise strategic patience. You have to get Zen about these things and
not everything is the way you want it.
S: How is there any other story? I'm watching Meet the Press and I'm like
really, not one question about Russia.
M: There's a reputation the media have to
maintain, and that's whatever story pops up.
I think Russian
intelligence is showing them how to do propaganda in the White House, they are
excellent at keeping the subject to two or three crazy stories and avoiding the
big picture. Some of these things are
just not ignorable.
You can't erase
history, you have to answer the questions.
Either in court, in front of a Senate hearing or with a special
prosecutor. Right now like Bernstein and
Woodward both said, they are trying to cover up.
S: A reporter
tried to ask T about Flynn and he just said thank you, he tries to change the
story.
M: Target being buggy means they don’t know
where the enemy is getting the information.
T can know by just asking the question.
S: And that clip where he's saying, I’d love to
find out about the hacking, if only someone had the authority. He's the President. Trump revived claim that
Obama wire tapped him in an interview that aired today.
M: We've got to find out what book he read that
gave him this kind of strategy. I know
it's in the KGB operations where you deny, discredit, and turn it around and
attack.
S: Now he's saying it [the Russia story] is just
opinion not fact, there's no opinion just his opinion.
M: They're going to have to call this out
loudly. It has to be clarified and it
takes an independent investigation with subpoena power.
S: The House and Senate are both obstructing the
investigation.
M: People need to get on the phones. Don’t
believe you don’t have power, call, not emails, phone calls or go to
representative offices in person.
S: There's another protest today for May
Day. Cheetolini says it's Loyalty
Day.
M: That's definitely from some tin pot
dictator.
M: [after more discussion about media such as
Fox News non coverage of Russia story] Isn’t Murdoch’s ex wife dating Putin or
something like that?
Three years ago
that photo of Putin riding a horse bare topped, people said he's such a great
leader. The correct word to use here is,
the conservative movement has been co-opted by Putin. This Russian orthodox leader who wrestles bears
and does Judo is an image they put out in Russia.
Caller: Remember David Corn article that KGB had been
grooming Trump for five years?
M: I have a whole chapter about it in my book
The Plot to Hack America.
The CIA has its
own intelligence that verifies most of the bullet points in the Christopher
Steele memo.
[after hearing a
Trump clip]
We respect the
chair, the laws that surround the presidency you don’t have to respect the man.
He's degrading all
of the norms that America was built on. The
way Trump is talking, this is a dismantling of the presidency. Who’s going on the White House tour with this
guy, insulting people?
S: The climate march this weekend, another one
today.
M: There are 30 different disparate groups doing
stuff, there is no organizing body. I
constantly hear from them, don’t organize like the Tea Party did but you have
to, you can lose your ability to concentrate having a march every week.
S: It's obviously working.
M: They should be a lot more powerful. Every month a women’s march size march, that
can be organized.
S: Plot to Hack America author, he's not just
trying to sell books,
M: It's at the top of the New York Times best
seller list. Read it to get some real
intelligence.
S: Skin heads and Russian flags at Trump rally
Saturday.
M: I wouldn't be surprised if the Russians provided
them the flags. [Russian accent; Oh sorry my mistake] Do you know who a really
smart President was, George H W Bush. He
knew what he was doing.
S: When you hear the news about missile North
Korea missile test.
M: It exploded
seventy two kilometers in space, it did not blow up on the pad, it went really
far. So if that's a failure, it's an
error that will allow them to make that fix and get the next stage correct.
S: Well Trump tweeted afterwards, so that’ll
show them. It's terrifying to have a
President that nobody can believe.
There's no money for the wall-
M: He made that statement it's possible we can
have a major with incident with North
Korea. If any other president had made
that statement it would be major coverage all over the news. When Trump says it, it can't be
believed. But what happens if that's his
intention, to get the media to ignore him.
I take everything he says at face value.
[after discussion with
caller whose son works in cyber security and is going nuts hearing the idiotic
things Trump is saying ]
M: There are
350,000 cyber security jobs in the U.S. that are unfilled.
M: Twenty years ago when the KGB was in effect,
we would have been having trials right now.
This [inaction about Trump-Russia] shows how effective they've gotten,
they have co-opted us and are controlling our media.
M: When people harass me where I'm speaking I ask
them, Do they actually believe in America and the Constitution. The First Amendment? That's the first thing
they can think of?
S: Malcolm, someone said RICO prosecution is one
way
M: What's funny about death threats is these
guys just assume we're not armed. There are
some amendments that we're all allowed to have.
[ A caller suggests
Malcolm Nance appear with Miller at Sexy Liberal in Hawaii and he says he’d
consider it. Stay tuned. ]
Regular contributor
Sue in Rockville calls in: When seventeen
intelligence agencies say Russia hacked the election, if you're cool with that,
with Russia collaborating in the election, you're not a patriot. You are a traitor.
M: There was a debate last week on Twitter about
the use of the word Collusion. The word that
intelligence agents use is “infiltration” and when those terms do come out, you're
going to know about it. you want to talk
about breaking news all the time, don’t worry.
This issue will resolve itself.
S: Now it's not just Russia, it's any subject,
concerned about T’s mental health.
M: If North Korea gets an ICBM, it's going to
affect a lot of Americans.
S: Blaming Obama is becoming a punch line.
M: It's ridiculous.
They allowed Flynn
access knowing all this information.
Flynn hung out
with Donald Trump, said Lock Her Up, and got his clearance.
S: This is happening in Franceand it's still happening
here, we can't let this continue.
M: I really think we're seeing an autocracy trying
to take power. Did you see there was a
march in Poland yesterday, by a hard core neo Nazi group with the Nuremberg
style flags, marching in Poland yesterday.
Poland was Invade By The Nazis by the way.
Another aside for
those who haven't read The Plot to Hack America yet:
The hacks were on
Moscow time and they were using Cyrillic keyboards.
