Severe flash floods hit Las Vegas, Nevada, turning roads into rivers, stranding vehicles, and covering streets with mud, rocks, and debris. Powerful storms triggered emergency rescues and road closures across Henderson, Lake Las Vegas, and the Las Vegas Valley on October 30, 2026. In Henderson, rushing floodwaters swept a vehicle off the road near Lake Las Vegas, forcing firefighters to rescue two people. Another stranded driver climbed onto a vehicle roof before being rescued. One person died after being pulled from a flooded wash. 

FLOODED ROADS & STRANDED VEHICLES 

Lake Mead Parkway became impassable as mud, rocks, and debris covered the roadway. In East Las Vegas, heavy rainfall and hail flooded streets, including sections of Desert Inn Road, disrupting traffic and creating dangerous driving conditions.
