Wow, I just realized the stuff I'm writing now is truly DIY hospice, hmm 

When I was doing City of Angels 3 through 12 about the pedophile priests, I was in a state of constant PTSD-induced tension. I described it as feeling like I had a metal rod in my arms and legs. I was tense. over and over I asked doctors to prescribe valium or one of those benzodiazepine family drugs and they would refuse to give it to me saying no that's addictive, we can't prescribe to you something that's addictive.

Instead they would give me medicine that was horrible, didn't help with the pain or tension, left terrible tastes in my mouth caused me to get fat and lose sleep, and worst of all every warning they came with said do not abruptly stop taking or you will have "discontinuation syndrome" which can kill you...? Hello, isn't that addiction? I'm posting this here because I know I have a lot of readers around the world and if you think your medical care is bad, you I should see what it's really like to live in the United States right now.

If I had erectile dysfunction I'd have 20 different treatments and doctors to choose from, but because I'm a PTSD addled old lady with no money on Medicaid, I still haven't seen a doctor in 6 years, So when I posted a while back that I'm not the person I was anymore, it seems like I liberated something inside of me like I don't give a f--- anymore but that's not true. I just sat here in tears watching Spokane Washington go up in flames. I feel an urge to return to the global warming roots of this blog and I may do that soon but it's a lot of work the way I was doing it before with transcripts so, onward. More to come.

When an old woman got raped in Barton Hospital, no one did anything about it; welcome to USA medical care in rural California, rah rah rah it's awful

I used to call this my problem that can't be solved. Now I call it the problem nobody wants to bother to solve because I'm a broke old lady in my late 70s so who cares. 

I'm writing this to document just how horrible American Medical Care is on this one level, mine, and after 6 years of trying to get somebody in this community to respond and help me so I can get to a doctor appointment, I'm still at home with rashes spreading all over my legs and no one to call for help.

That's life in the USA after we voted to become an Idiocracy; this is how it's playing out in my life.

I'm writing about what I used to call the problem that can't be solved and now call the problem that nobody wants to spend 4 hours on solving because I'm just a broke old lady in my late 70s so who gives a fuck. Now

What makes me being raped at age 71 in the local hospital even worse than it sounds is I came to Tahoe to recover from a 20-year period of advocating and posting blog posts about the pedophile priest crimes in the Catholic church. It says so right at the top of my medical file, that I was already a rape victim at age 5. Don't get me started about re-traumatization but that was not the only

Worst thing about it is as I lied there being finger banged by two nurses unable to move, I kept thinking wow this is what Father Horne did to me when I was a preschool age girl and now it's happening to me is an old woman in my seventies. wow

On a side trip, here is what I experience regularly. Where I live there are people whose job is to make life better and keep the seniors who live here Serene and safe. Since the incident in the hospital in December 2019, I have been asking these people over and over just hire somebody to work with me for a few hours and come to my next doctor appointment with me so that I can resolve this situation. Over and over they tell me we don't have the budget to pay for something like that. 

Then a few weeks ago I get an email saying that some volunteers are coming to help us with cleaning projects we have and I signed up readily but Every time I suggested something they could do, I got an email back saying no that's not what they do they do deep cleaning. 

So I said okay I have two boxes of flattened boxes they could take that out for me and I put the two boxes in the middle of the living room floor and waited for them to come. After several time cancellations because the guys are driving up from sacramento, finally I get a knock on the door and find out that they don't take out boxes.

The funniest part about this is she said no that's not what they're here to do because we're paying them. That stunned me I still don't know what it means. I just wonder why they can pay strange men to come up from Sacramento and dig through my apartment and violate my bedroom but they can't pay a local caregiver to work with me for 4 hours so I could get a caregiver.

As they were walking out I called out, 

you mean those two big Burly men are going to leave these two boxes in the middle of my living room and no one said a word; they just all walked out with pine dust flying off their boots all over my carpet and probably causing my rash  to spread again. 

And I still don't have the help I need to get to a doctor

This is do it yourself Hospice in a small rural town in northern California where almost everybody votes Republican, 'nuff said
