First time I saw Putin's light shining through Trump's eyes was on Dec. 18, 2015 — Joe Scarborough asked candidate Donald about Putin’s killing journalists and invading neighboring countries. Trump defended Putin as “a leader, unlike what we have in this country,” and said, “Our country does plenty of killing, too, Joe.”
“Our country does plenty of killing, too, Joe.”
My reaction was same as when as a teenager at an anti-war rally in 1968, someone approached me saying they were from the Socialist Workers Party but seemed to be more, and I got this strange feeling because I agreed with the persons I'd always thought were the enemy.
Hate to admit it, but Donald Trump and his spy wife have been very successful in their role in the Saudi Russian coup that destroyed USA. He's not an idiot, she's not clueless. They are Boris and Natasha with trust funds raided from the U.S. Treasury. Even though I'm on the losing side, gotta hand it to 'em. They stood On Camera with the world watching and threw out comedy lines while pulling off this coup (at Putin's direction funded by Saudis).USA did not get bombed and most of us did not get put in front of firing squads, worst that happened to us is we have to see Jeanine Pirro sneering in the news forever. For now.
When I think of all the war crimes committed in my name by USA last decades, I wonder. Maybe the good guys didn't lose just now, maybe it's time for USA to fizzle and shrink. These centuries old nations destroyed USA without even using real weapons. Maybe they aren't bad guys after all.
I'm just observing with no attachment right now.
Best to keep alert and see what happens next.
Imagine 30 years from now reading about Trump and all he's said and done, knowing that it was part of the Saudi Russian coup to destroy USA, and EVERYTHING trump does makes sense, even seems strategic and planned, down to his choice of words (or of whoever gives him his daily script).
Until we recognize him as a weapon turned on us from within, we will waste endless hours trying to figure out why he's doing things.
That's how an information weapon works. Nothing gets done in USA (or UK) while we endlessly debate and argue over what happened in 2016 election (perhaps in France too, where the strikes look like a 19th century revolution...)
Think of Trump as a weapon designed to destroy USA and everything he says and does is brilliant, strategic, working. Meanwhile astonished reporters on camera say, "He destroyed another American institution" over and over.
Remember, Trump accuses Dems of bizarre things, then often does those very bizarre things himself. Now he's accused Pelosi of turning the House into a medieval “star chamber.” I've noticed hints of ancient history in many of the Putin messages coming out of Trump's mouth so wonder what are Trump's coup plans:
Wikipedia: "The Star Chamber (Latin: Camera stellata) was an English court which sat at the royal Palace of Westminster, from the late 15th century to the mid-17th century (c. 1641), and was composed of Privy Counsellors and common-law judges, to supplement the judicial activities of the common-law and equity courts in civil and criminal matters. The Star Chamber was originally established to ensure the fair enforcement of laws against socially and politically prominent people so that ordinary courts would probably hesitate to convict them of their crimes. However, it became synonymous with social and political oppression through the arbitrary use and abuse of the power it wielded."
Considering the education Trump displays, I really doubt he pulled this reference out of his own head.
Vladimir Putin just pulled off the most amazing espionage action in world history. I am a casualty in awe.
Defeat. The Russians attacked us with information as a weapon and won, so now when I turn on the news, I feel DEFEAT as in they attacked and USA was defeated. Now we get Mitch McConnell assuring us that the Constitution does not exist anymore and mesmerized repubs retweet him with American Flags.
This is information warfare and they won. At least Saudi-Russia did not use conventional bombs on us. Only thing destroyed is my patriotism and was that ever real? Has there been a genuine reason to be patriotic since Vietnam? not really.
I hope someday we find out how Putin got the entire Republican party to be his "useful tools." I know Arnold ain't with them... Ronald Reagan would never go along with this or William F. Buckley.
They won, this is not USA anymore, and it's taking FOREVER for Americans to figure it out, so how will they ever fight back.
this is defeat
I can't watch anymore. Wish there were more than five seasons of Twilight Zone for escape...
