I liked the internet a lot better when it started and was all academics and journalists and smart people. Then someone put a smartphone into the hands of every High School Dropout in the country, and it's all been downhill since then. That wonderful exchange of intelligent ideas was destroyed. I don't think that was accidental.

Since my most recent bullying episode, there are lines I keep running over and over in my head, you know, I wish I'd said I wish I had said next time I see her I'm going to say. Unfortunately, I have no strength for argument or Escape so I'll just write them here. 

First:

You better make sure you got a good shine on that crucifix around your neck as you're yelling get the fuck out of the lobby if you don't like Fox News at me.

AND

I'm not the one believing anti-American propaganda and so uninformed about US and world history that I can't see that it's anti-American propaganda.
