The impact of the blizzard in Providence began Sunday night and continued overnight and into Monday. By 1 p.m., the storm had dumped 32.8 inches of snow at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, according to the National Weather Service, surpassing the previous record of 28.6 inches that fell there during the Blizzard of 1978.
