OMG just realized. 8 hours ago I posted about Operation Matrioska disinformation campaign from Russia and only now realized Matrioska means Russian doll. Wish I had an editor... So the way it works is, the Russians send out a fake story, then same bot/person sends a query to see if story is true, then as a different identity the bot sends story out again, then there's another query. Operation Matrioska disinformation just goes on and on and on and with each new layer, news and social media feel compelled to report on it. This is post 8 hours ago:
