TRANSCRIPT 1: Mosques flooded, evacuation of people in Turkey! Flooding in Izmir, revenge of nature Oct 24 report:

On October 23rd 2025 the city of  Foça in Izmir Province Turkey was at the epicenter of devastating flooding. In just an hour and a half the region received 144 mm of rain, more than a month's worth.

Streets turned into raging rivers, sweeping away cars, trash containers, and even sections of the road surface.People tried to find shelter inside buildings, but the water seeped in everywhere, inundating homes and shops. Emergency Services worked in emergency mode evacuating residents and Clearing parks for emergency vehicles. FoçaSome residents were trapped in their homes waiting on the rooftop for help.

The disaster was caused by a powerful Cyclone that swept across Turkey's Western coast.

This flood served as a reminder of the fragility of urban infrastructure in the face of natural disasters.

This day will forever remain etched in the region's memory as a symbol of the sudden and merciless force of the elements.

Heavy rain in the Foca District of Ismer this evening paralyzed life in the district. The downpour intensified, flooding many homes and businesses and submerging several vehicles. Streets turned into lakes and residents began sharing photos of the flooding on social media. 

Video footage showed streets turning into rivers and vehicles sucked away and homes submerged in water. 

The mayor appealed for help declaring the situation extraordinary.  She said, we are facing a major flood and we ask everyone to help us.

City teams continue evacuation and rescue efforts in flood affected areas; teams from the Isner municipality have also been deployed to the district; authorities are urging residents to avoid unnecessary outdoor activities and to avoid flood-prone areas

In Foca where streets and highways turned into lakes, several Vehicles were trapped in flood waters.

Rescue operation following a rain warning issued by the general directorate of meteorology yesterday- the expected rain began to show its effects- homes and businesses were flooded and Roads turned into lakes due to heavy rain in three cities.

Retaining walls and sidewalks collapsed and roads leading to 25 Villages and 30 hamlets were closed to traffic due to landslides and rock debris caused by The Heavy Rain.

the governor's office stated that a search is underway for a person who cannot be found in his vehicle in the district.

Search and rescue efforts continue for a 70 year old man man who swept away by floodwaters after heavy rain in fosa- it was revealed that the missing man was Swept Away by flood waters while talking to his daughter on the phone at the time of the incident- meanwhile the ministry of interior announced that a yellow Heavy Rain warning had been issued for eight provinces.

Heavy Rain which began around 12:30 p.m. caused flooding in  neighborhoods, inundating many homes and businesses.  Numerous vehicles were submerged and five people trapped inside were rescued by police and firefighters.
