Chile flood & landslide Oct 9- Cars flow backwards "like a horizontal waterfall" IDH Weather News report w captioned screenshots, Heating Planet blog
Chaos in Las Condes, Chile, near Santiago: flooding and landslides. Cars swept away, mud everywhere. Devastating floods and mudslides have damaged buildings and vehicles in a district of the Chilean capital, situated at the foothills of the Andes Mountains.
The disaster hit the Las Condes commune hardest, particularly the San Carlos de Apoquindo area.
Vital routes such as General Blanche Road, Quebrada Honda, Avenida La Plaza, and Camino El Alba were completely paralyzed after the asphalt was torn up and buried under landslide debris.

Screenshots don't do justice to this video where often footage shows vehicles streaming backwards on road bumping into each other; you can't catch it with a screenshot.
