All through history people without money have died or been incapacitated by illness that could have been treated, so I have to accept it. America has lost three-four wars (who can keep up) and is no longer a superpower nation, instead is left with this massive debt. So the middle class here is disappearing. I'm not the only one who's dealing with sickness that by all rights should be treated. In America today we've returned to the robber baron era socially and I'm just one of many-many casualties.

Vision to see 2 inches in front of your face, maybe
.
The politicians claiming the Benghazi attack was a result of lax security at the American Embassy in Libya are the same politicians who fight against any increased revenue for the government.
How are we supposed to secure our overseas embassies if the wealthy in the USA refuse to pay taxes?

Game Change: Where our current political insanity began
.
Netflix Review:by Kay Ebeling
Towards the end of Game Change, a crowd is hollering “Socialist” and “Muslim” when John McCain mentions Barack Obama at a Republican rally and Ed Harris as McCain gets a look of pain on his face. He’s shocked at the radical hate-filled words coming from his followers. That moment is pivotal in American history, the beginning of the whacked out weirdness that is dominating our political climate today.
Game Change gave me a renewed respect for McCain and I even ended up feeling kind of sorry for Sarah Palin after seeing the HBO production, as Palin was in way over her head and should never have been put in that position of running-mate to begin with.
But Pandora’s box was open, the bigotry and extremism that Palin brought out in crowds is still with us today, inspiring gun nuts who massacre innocent people in crowded places, feeding anti-Muslim anti-liberal animosity that dominates politics today so much that it's almost impossible to hold a conversation in public.
Reactionary name-calling has replaced political dialogue and it may take decades for the country to recover. Game Change made me see how much the mistake of putting Sarah Palin in as a vice presidential candidate has had reverberations five years later.
I'm a progressive but I've always liked John McCain, I like any Republican or Independent who can engage in intelligent discourse. However, today the hate-filled hollerers have come to dominate politics. I hope it stops soon.
Game Change is a history lesson, as well as an example of how great actors can inhabit a role: Harrelson, Moore, and especially Ed Harris are wonderful and I'm keeping the disk to watch it a few more times before returning it to Netflix. Wish there was more meaningful drama like this being produced today.

Freedom to go to the movies and come home alive
.
Laws against drunk driving did not ban alcohol for everyone.
Denying there is a problem with guns in America is like saying it's okay to keep having unprotected sex after you know you have AIDS.
The Constitution was written as a living document that can be amended as time requires it, and time requires it now.
This is not a partisan issue. You'd think after all the massacres in the US by nuts with guns that people would rally behind gun regulation as a matter of public safety. What more will it take?

A Deep Internal Sense of Being Pissed Off
Kay Ebeling shared a link.
Past few years I've had several "friends" enter my life, by way of the blog I wrote about pedophile priests. My new "friends" told me they would do things for me, got my hopes up, then when the time came, they disappeared. The way the same pattern happened over and over, I can't help thinking "someone" orchestrated these incidents to get the result they got, me being depressed, lonely, unmotivated, and now able to trust no one. I keep telling myself not to let paranoia taint my instincts, but it's just too weird that this has happened over and over since 2010. And, I mean, the dirty tricksters are likely working for Catholic Church hierarchy (boy will that get you funny looks when you try to tell someone). Well, guys, they won. I have no motive to continue the blog at all after being burned like this over and over. I should feel liberated, but instead I just have a real deep internal sense of being pissed off.
