a dark look at the bright side

We are living through the environmental collapse scientists have predicted for more than fifty years. Think of it as a learning experience. It's awful but it's fascinating.. Social scientists predicted the current geopolotical collapse as well. Fifty years ago they warned of a Population Explosion that now is at the root of everything that is going wrong. Biggest culprit is ignorance. This era of calamities could have gone much better if people had been smarter. For now, I'm here for the ride, feeling a queer satisfaction seeing that the climatologists and doomsdayers back in the 1970s were right.
