There are videos of slums in India. L.A. seems heading to be like Calcutta or Mumbai. Their slums are what our "encampments" will look like in a few more years. Our uber capitalist system keeps sucking any wealth to the top, while the rest of us scrabble for crumbs to survive. USA needs a good dose of socialism, say it outright, the wealth of our nation belongs to all of us. Most homeless people have worked would work if there was work. Only a crass uncaring system lets unhoused people live like this. For Shame USA
