Anyone who reads a lot would know that USA is spelled U.S. when abbreviated per AP news style, which is updated yearly & used by all professional publications in USA. So Trump is spelling U.S. incorrectly:

I never leave my doctor's office feeling better

American doctors won’t prescribe drugs that actually make you feel good. They claim it's to protect us from getting addicted. They instead write an Rx for psychotropics or uptake inhibitors or derivatives of snake venom, etcetera, which come with a warning, Do Not Stop Taking Abruptly or you could die from “discontinuation syndrome” which leaves me shaking my head saying, um, you mean withdrawal? At age 75 I’d rather be addicted to something that actually makes me feel better than the pharms I get today. Most the drugs my doctors prescribe have such awful side effects that I'm distracted from the initial illness, so I guess you could say the drugs work. Such bad medicine we get in USA. Thank god for cannabis…

Finally becoming just another human

I wish I had more energy I say to myself then think again. After a lifetime of being busy all the time, a workaholic who prided myself on being able to function on four hours sleep a night, an advocate so passionate that once I signed onto a project, I ate drank and slept it- I got up in the middle of the night to write press releases, gulped coffee while reading dozens of news sites in first hours of the day- I work-work-worked starting around age fifteen and don’t regret a minute of it: But now I'm tired At age 75 I want to linger over first cup of coffee and get around to making the second cup an hour later, sit sometimes like in a trance binge watching series on Prime or YouTube, laughing at senseless jokes; indeed I'm often mindless nowadays after decades of being so sharp I developed razor's edges all over my personality- I'm finally slowing down and softening, simplifying. Finally. It feels great,

On top of a manic approach to work, I was a single parent from age 40 on and I couldn't just bake cookies now and then. I had to be a Stepford Single Mom, rushing through days determined that everything be perfect- except for my relationship with my children, but that's another blog post… At one point I was riding L.A. transit to Burbank every evening and working overnight at a transcription company then riding back to our apartment in Thai Town where I worked a second job from home. During this time I invented “power sleep” a way to get all the rest you need for the day in about twenty minutes. You find the minutes before sunrise that are the absolute darkest minutes of the night, then lie down flat and repose, intensely. Then twenty minutes later as the day breaks, get up and start another jam packed workaholic day. I used to do that. Around 2005 to 2008 or so I did that several nights a week. Then I added producing City of Angels Blog about the pedophile priests to my schedule, and wrote all those stories, a full time job in itself, for ten years. No wonder I'm tired. Rightfully tired.

Biden has won me over

Biden is so poised, controlled, and competent in the midst of international crises, he has won me over past few weeks. Yeah he talks like an old man and I don't agree with everything he says but I'm an old lady and I don't agree with most Democrats. What USA needs now is a smart President and Biden’s brain is obviously still sharp and active. He's capable and comfortable wielding the benevolent power of the United States now when it's needed.

I’m in shock that after an anti American act such as trying to overturn the presidential election, that so many Americans still support Donald Trump. He is facing 91 charges across four criminal cases, so far, including 13 raps for attempts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia alone.

The nationwide suicide cliff jump we’re watching is the result of an amazing job of propaganda and brainwashing since Fox News showed up in 1996, paving the way for now dozens of news sites that have mesmerized millions and created the misinformed population we have in USA today.

Brainwashing people through their TVs and phones is a unique way to attack a nation, as was flying airplanes into highrise office buildings.

I honestly feel bad for all the MAGA believers because sooner or later they are going to snap out of it and realize the damage they are doing to the USA. If they really are patriots, they are going to feel very guilty when they wake up. Enemies of America have attacked USA using disinformation as a weapon, and they’ve won, by getting MAGA Republicans to do their dirty work.

I look forward to finding out who was behind this information warfare coup. My theory after a career that included work in Public Affairs for two US Govt agencies is, USA engaged in at least 3 wars illegally, causing great hardship to other nations and now we are being attacked back. And my neighbors who support Donald Trump are aiding and abetting the enemy, convinced by decades of disinformation drumbeat into their heads into believing their anti-American activities, such as on Jan 6 2021, are the acts of patriots.

Gotta hand it to Vladimir P, he knows how to conduct an espionage operation, and this takeover of the minds of Americans will live in military history, both for its originality and its success. Just read a twitter post saying we don’t need to stop using fossil fuels, we need to get rid of 80 percent of the human population instead. The post was followed by a stream of comments from persons who agreed, making suggestions on ways to do so.  Now and then I go to Twitter out of old habit because up to about a year ago, I was following several really smart people and news sources there, so I’d learn things. But when Elon took it over, most the smart people left “X”, and, unfortunately, they all went disparate ways, to different “new” twitter-like sites that I can't find now, or when I do find one, I can't find my old twitter connections anymore. I can't help thinking someone arranged to ruin Twitter on purpose, as I found out so much there that was never reported on MSM but instead covered by smart people (lots of journalists who've been fired for having integrity in our times now do blogs and podcasts) so of course the powers that be who want to see USA destroyed wanted to destroy Twitter. It truly frightens me that there is now a platform where persons who are so satanic / twisted / misinformed / sociopathic can spread homicidal ideas with impunity. This does not bode well for America’s future…

Food Bank Food Recipe. Chicken broth, add solids from canned spinach and canned yams, liquefy, drink as soup. If you are hungry it tastes wonderful, not something you’d ever overeat. Spices help. Everything is better with spices. I am living on 800 a month and food stamps that last two weeks, a new experience for me. All those years I was working were not counted by Social Security, the years with U.S. government followed by decades of finky funky jobs I could do and still be a stay at home mom. Thank God for subsidized housing and food stamps- and food banks- sometimes I have a glimmer of memory of- as a tweenager- hearing Lyndon Johnson make speeches about his war on poverty and feeling reassured, that I would not be in bad shape if I ended up as a broke old lady, and I did.  So glad at least HUD survived the following decades, I think because builders and property owners make money on HUD. Ah America, what will you do next. Good morning.

So cool that humans invented ways to watch local webcams all over the world from our armchairs, just in time for a global climate crisis. There's satellite and local cam coverage available online for us all to watch as Earth makes her presence known and, hopefully, humbles us. On this YouTube live stream, a kid, who looks like he's up in his room with five laptops on a geeky high school weekend, is doing a live stream, with live storm chaser video of Hurricane Hilary on three screens as it plunders through California. And I'm at six thousand feet with two laptops watching

I found the 60 second quote and transcribed it, because the word woke has taken on a new historic significance- especially as my long time Facebook friend T-D said:

The Lead Belly quote that ends with "So I advise everybody to be a little careful when they go along through, it's best to stay woke, keep the eyes open" starts at the end of an interview with Lead Belly after he sings the song “Scottsboro Boys” at 03:22 on the Smithsonian video below.  I used my retired transcriber skills to capture it.  

Here is what Lead Belly said that introduced the word “woke” to the American vernacular, while today those who are rewriting American history have transformed the word into – an Alice in Wonderland on coke right wing warp the listeners’ brain word.

That was all there was to it and they just saw the women, they didn't seem nothing else wrong.  But anyhow they put the boys in jail and then that's six long years, right.  The states all the whole United States got together and they got out for them, and they come to New York.  And the lawyer that got them out, I know him pretty good, I've met them.  And he showed me the Scottsboro Boys and I shook hands with them.  So I made this little song about it down there.  So I advise everybody to be a little careful when they go along through, it's best to stay woke, keep the eyes open.
