Jihadi John is tired of having to do all these beheadings, I saw that in his body language when I watched the umpteenth one last week, almost wrote a joke post about it but thought better. Now this. I was right. Will somebody please tell Joni Ernst that the economy has changed since she was a girl, and unlike the reminiscences in her Tea Party response to the State of the Union, you Can’t work your way through college with a part time job anymore. The pay is too low, college costs are too high, and where are all those part time jobs for students to begin with?
Subsidized college is an investment in All Of Us and if we don't do it soon, ignorant people will be all that's left to employ in our hospitals, malls, as home health service providers, everything. No one will know history, civics, math, and even American born individuals won’t speak English. Or maybe that's what people like Joni Ernst want, an uneducated populace so you can put anything over on them.
We could end up in a country full of stupid people staring into their smart phones while a handful of smart people suck up all the resources. Hmm. Maybe we are there already.
