Problem is we have a culture that developed cities, entire populations, all dependent on fossil fuel to continue. I'm afraid. Soon we'll need more fossil fuels to cool off from all the heat the fossil fuels cause. Me, I work from home, walk, use transit for longer trips. But I'm an oddball. I don't think everyone in the world is willing to make a change like that, until things start getting really drastic and . . .
Scientists agree, says John Sutter, that atmospheric pollution is creating conditions that make environmental disasters more likely, bigger and costlier.

OMG it just hit me. At the same time climate change becomes more critical, Donald Trump could be president. Yikes.

There's a remake of Ben-Hur coming out soon, produced by same people who did Celebrity Apprentice few years back. . .
Directed by Timur Bekmambetov. With Jack Huston, Nazanin Boniadi, Haluk Bilginer, Pilou Asbæk. A falsely accused Jewish nobleman survives years of slavery to take vengeance on his Roman best friend, who betrayed him.

It is amazing to me how a news story disappears within days. I search for follow-ups, what happened next, and can find nothing. Lately I search for stories about the murder of Haruka Weiser, or the Palco Marsh evacuation, or the terrorism attacks in several US cities last year, even about pedophile priests, and a day after a story breaks it stops being a story in today's media. You have to dig into comments to get an idea of how things ended, what happened next. just one more thing that's missing, I miss the morning paper on my doorstep with a stack of in depth coverage. There should be more on the internet, I think there used to be more on the internet. Where have all the stories gone?
