It wouldn't be a super El Nino if we hadn't passed 1.5 C and now Earth is getting hotter faster- EDITORIAL at Heating Planet blog

Ir's not just an El Nino that's coming, it's that we passed 1.5 C faster than they thought we were going to, back in 2015 when COP 20 said 1.5 C by 2030 would be a disaster and the goal was to never pass 1.5 C. I'm happy to see mainstream news embracing the climate crisis finally, but it's not just an El Nino and the way they keep repeating that, to me, is disinformation, because it's making people think this is a temporary situation. 

Now that we've passed 1.5 C the heating is becoming exponential and it's going to get hotter and hotter faster and faster and that is the story that broke just this past few weeks. 

Somehow "super El Nino" is the story that's being repeated over and over and over in corporate media where they seem to only read a headline and a few paragraphs of press releases and then just repeat each other. 

It wouldn't be a super El Nino if we hadn't passed 1.5 C and now we're getting hotter and hotter and getting hotter faster. 

I can't figure out what the benefit is to letting the planet keep heating and heating. Even for the oil industry, that money they're getting is temporary. 

As long as they treat this Global crisis of fires and floods as  just weather, another El Nino, that it's going to last a while and then end somehow, we aren't going to have a solution or a way to stop the heating.

I'm beginning to think the wars that are going on right now might be the best solution because they are blowing up refineries and oil tankers right and left, and pretty soon there's not going to be any oil available anywhere and we're all going to be forced to find alternative energy.
