Maga will fill our dictionaries with wonderful new words...

Someone on Fox News in a hate rant made up the word lawfare a while back, and now it's got an Oxford definition. Combine law and warfare:  It means using agencies like DOJ to go after political enemies, something that was not even a thing, ever, in my 76 years. Well, now it is a thing Fox News made up, and after four years it's going to be hard to recognize anything in USA anymore. And I'll be 80 by then so if I'm still here I hope I can just not give a damn by then.

The word lawfare had to be invented when Trump needed a way to explain why U.S. intel came after him in 2015. Doing routine monitoring, our spies noticed lots of communication between a bank in Russia and Trump Tower, in fact, at first all they had was the address, They did not come after Trump; they followed up on suspicious activity coming from the building.

Trump screwed up and got caught. So he made up the lie that the Democrats were spying on him.

then Fox invented the word lawfare so they could keep repeating Trump's lie and... what can "lawfare" be used for now?

Using DOJ to go after political enemies maybe?
