UK PM met with Trump in September but 'unable to fix a time' for Harris, which I think is questionable

He passed on dinner with UN colleagues to share air with Donald Trump? What was decided at that meeting? 

This is weird. Why did Prime Minister of UK meet with Donald Trump but not Kamala Harris when he was in New York in September? To me, combined with Elon Musk and Vladimir Putin, Trump sure was hobnobbing with a lot of world leaders, acting like a president, making promises and deals representing USA, in this case five weeks before he won the election.

Huh? And Kamala wasn’t a possible next occupant?

Or is that a phrase someone made up as an answer to the press instead of the real reason for the meeting?

Learning this is, to me, disconcerting and creepy. You'd think Labor would be working for Kamala, if anything. But her dinners aren't at Trump Tower... 

Karmer met with Trump and did not meet with Harris, an astounding diplomatic faux pax, by a nation like UK where diplomacy rules. If he couldn't schedule the current vice president, he should have canceled the former President, my god, didn't he watch “The Crown”?- guess Starmer couldn't resist the kind of dinner you get at Trump’s golden palace. 

Before the election was over

Before the election was over a lot of individuals in other countries were acting as if Trump already won. The Saudis showered him with gifts and money; don't think Kamala got any of that. Trump was just phoning it in the last weeks, performing at his rallies so embarrassingly he should have lost by a landslide, instead even long time Dem strongholds went for Trump?

I'm suspicious because Elon Musk owns this massively influential but very secretively run “media company” for want of a better word. Musk has massive data gathering ability in ways maybe three people understand.  Musk is about to profit more from his connection to Trump than he's already profited from exploiting NASA and the U.S. military. 

What the fuck is going on, America?

Everyone is acting like the extremely weird and unexplainable result of a very abnormal presidential campaign is something to shrug off or explain with creativity and newswriting competence while ignoring the massive elephant in the room. Disinformation was everywhere in the final weeks of the 2024 campaign, the hate messaging from Trump about numerous Democrats and their issues- all carefully targeted as that's what a political campaign does with data….

I think USA has been under attack by information warfare since 1994 when Fox News appeared on cable lineups and Americans just tuned in and believed. 

Bringing Melania in to seduce Trump amped up the attack. She impressed him with her global knowledge and smarts, so when she said, here sit down and watch this and turned on Fox News, the attack on USA went into overdrive.

Democrats never responded to the disinformation pouring into USA through Fox, Newsmax, and now the network of dozens of right wing media outlets -  180 TV stations, 600 radio stations all repeating the same right wing propaganda; by repeating the disinformation over and over to each other they give the lies credibility. 

It's all lies Fox, comedians give examples of it all the time,

Since 1994 USA allowed this onslaught of anti American disinformation.  By 2024 we have several generations of Americans who have heard almost nothing but the anti American propaganda from Fox et al, so now they think Trump is a great president.

Our enemies used our very cherished institutions to infiltrate and attack us- the “enemies from within” that Trump kept alluding to are real. They're working for Trump. 

They used the First Amendment to get in- no politician would agree to investigate Fox News in 2009 when Obama asked it of Congress.  Our enemies knew Americans love the First Amendment too much to consider banning a network television station. 

Now we have an electorate so misinformed that they don’t realize what they've just done to their nation, because they rely on all that right wing media spreading anti American propaganda for their news.

It was that easy for Russia / Saudis to attack and destroy USA.  Global oil. Saudis paid for it, Russia used their spycraft, and Americans played with apps on their smart phones.

In hindsight, we will see a lot of things that in retrospect we’re indicators of things that came about.

What did Jeff Bezos know that was not publicly understood that kept him from endorsing Harris?

My European friends have been convinced for a while that Trump would prevail.

Trump sold the nation out when he dirtied 1600 Penn ave before. He is going pay on the deals he made then. I am hoping the Military or another agency stops him and his VP.

PS: this reminds me of when I was still doing transcription, and I worked on a corporate Zoom call, and learned that executives in film and TV already knew a pandemic was coming and the country was going to shut down in September of 2019, months before first Covid 19 cases became known to everyone else. The guys in charge KNEW Trump was going to win before the fact.
