Spain floods Oct 18-20 catastrophic- 20 screen shots tell story, from WHEN THE EARTH IS still ANGRY channel Oct 21 at Heating Planet Blog

Another sudden hydro meteorological event
Heavy rainfall caused by the Storm Adam meteorological phenomenon led to widespread flooding across Spain. The worst impacts occurred in the southern part of Valencia province and the northern province of Alicante, in the regions of La Safor and Marina Alta. In just 48 hours, some towns received more than 700 mm (28 inches) of rainfall. During the rescue efforts, several fatalities were found in the city. In Pego, flooded roads cut off the town from outside traffic. In some places, rescuers were unable to reach the victims using ground vehicles, so here too, people had to be evacuated from rooftops by helicopter. All footage was filmed in Spain between October 18 and 20, 2026. In Ibiza, in the municipality of Santa Eulalia del Río, homes and businesses were flooded, trees fell, and roads were blocked. Residents were trapped inside their buildings, and in some homes, the water level reached approximately one and a half meters. Rescuers evacuated people trapped in their homes and cars using helicopters. Around 2,000 people were evacuated from seven municipalities.  [Report continues after screenshots]

In Els Poblets, the Girona River overflowed its banks. Torrents of water inundated streets, damaged houses, and swept away cars, which in some places piled up. Flooding also affected the N-332, where trucks were stranded.
Authorities imposed restrictions on movement, urging residents to stay off roads and away from riverbeds, ravines, and flooded areas. Schools cancelled classes for more than 100,000 students. The storm also affected the Balearic Islands.
In some areas, streams overflowed their banks. Several fatalities were reported as a result of the severe weather in the Valencian Community and Catalonia.
Dead bodies were found in Oliva, and fatalities were also linked to the storm's aftermath in Sagunto and Cabrera de Mar. Rescue operations are ongoing, and authorities warn of a persistent risk of further heavy rainfall.
