Because of the automobile.
Think about it. We develop a society where everything – EVERYTHING – requires an automobile. Distances between buildings almost make a car necessary for everyone but the most athletic.
Then over time the automobile becomes something so expensive that there is an entire sub-culture of humans who can never even imagine ever owning one.
Then just see what happens from there.
So aside from being an abomination on the planet, from the concrete under them to every kilogram of gas that's in the air all around them, cars also have helped divide the nation into the haves and have-nots.
Then there are people like me, who can't drive because now and then I have seizures and it's not safe.
I get thrown onto the bus too in this wonderful American culture that people think is so great we have to “export it to other nations” and end up pissing off the world and now we've been attacked in a coup that has a lot A LOT to do with the oil industry and-

I don't think you can even call the election tactics Treason, bk Public Relations goes through Boundaries and gets to be legal when other things aren't. That's why a lot of spy activity went on through PR firms back in the seventies. What Russia did to this election was very crafty and devious Public Relations. What bothers me most is the reason it worked is American people were Willing To Believe the fake news based on hatred, which means...
