Trump has a strategic plan, this is an axis of autocrats he's building (Malcolm Nance just now on Stephanie Miller - Transcript)

(Here is a fast transcript, from 8:45 to 8:55 this AM when Malcolm Nance called in to Free Speech TV and Stephanie Miller conducted this interview. I transcribe for a living, so I got most of conversation.)

Outstanding quotes:
Trump has a strategic plan, this is an axis of autocrats he's building up.  He's supporting a Western Christian Alliance to effect upcoming elections in France, the Netherlands.  Once that alliance is done, democracy is finished.

The Confederacy was better grounded in reality than this administration.

The information we have right now indicates that there was a massive effort by a foreign state to play with the United States election and conduct cyber warfare against this nation in order to elect a president.

This could be the single largest espionage case in history where they worked with Russian intelligence to effect the election and that does bring you into Benedict Arnold territory.

Roger Stone, WikiLeaks, Giuliani all had a lot of information ahead of time.

TRANSCRIPT: (not verbatim)

SM: Today as always is a good day to talk to you, Malcolm Nance, because Comey is supposed to tell everything to Sheldon Whitehouse.

M:  That's correct and I'm sitting here waiting to see what he's going to say and whether it's going to be significant, but even if he says they're not investigating the Russian ties, it doesn't mean they're not investigated.  Why he's doing this is beyond me because the other subject he's supposed to be answering is about the straight up lie about Obama wiretapping Trump.

S:  The president is a pathological liar, what do you make of Sean Spicer saying the President is going to be vindicated.

M:  That means absolutely nothing. The FBI can come out and say we have no formal investigation, but we all know there are few refutable facts that this administration has had a half dozen or more contacts with the Russians and no answer why.  If they're not investigating, then what exactly is the FBI doing for their bacon?  Because it is very clear that there are ties: this administration personnel,  Flynn, its surrogates, something had to lead the U.S. intelligence community to believe the Russians hacked the election for Donald Trump and if they don’t have the evidence it's because they haven't looked for the evidence.

S:  You've been quoted saying, ‘This is the closest we've ever gotten to Benedict Arnold’?

M:  I've been saying that every once in a while on TV because I'm almost dumbfounded that I have to speak about it.  Everyone is so concerned about the smoking gun, the one bullet that will bring down Trump- it doesn't work like that in intelligence or in law enforcement.
What you get is a body of evidence, intelligence is information that can form into evidence for something that is irrefutable in court.  We get a lot of nebulous information.  What I've been saying is the information we have right now indicates that there was a massive effort by a foreign state to play with the United States election and conduct cyber warfare against this nation in order to elect a president.  At some point we have to find out was there collusion.
Roger Stone, WikiLeaks, Giuliani all had a lot of information ahead of time.
This could be the single largest espionage case in history where they worked with Russian intelligence to effect the election and that does bring you into Benedict Arnold territory.

S:  As an old spy, how ridiculous is the wiretapping by microwave talk?

M:  This is all chaff and fluff just to distract our intelligence.  First of all you can't believe a word Kellyanne Conway says, she has lied right to my face, saying one thing to me, then going on camera and saying the opposite thing two minutes earlier, we all know about that.  As for Sean Spicer, what more can you say, it's done better on Saturday Night Live.
And she was trying to say that there are other ways that they can take intelligence.  This is the White House validating WikiLeaks theft of CIA documents and because they live in conspiracy theory world, they do not work with the groundings that every other administration since the founding of this nation has worked with, for god’s sake even the Confederacy was better grounded in the reality than this one.
And if we can't count on them for truth in the most common utterance, what happens if we get into a situation with North Korea, we can't trust anything they say.

S:  I had Congressman Lieu on Monday.  He agrees that our President is working with Russia against our own CIA, it's hard to wrap your mind about that, and it's ongoing.

M: You're absolutely right and as I wrote in the book, Russia had a series of goals that if they were to carry out an operation of this magnitude, then there had to be payoffs, because if there weren’t why do it.  Once they got these payoffs- once they've helped [the Trump administration] gain their place in the White House, then there had to be things that only work in the interest of Russia.  And all we've seen since the inauguration are things that work in the interest of Russia.

S:  Like cutting the United Nations

M:  In cutting their budget, we have abdicated all foreign policy commitments since World war Two to Russia and China.
(…)
And Trump has a strategic plan, this is an axis of autocrats he's building up.  He's supporting a Western Christian Alliance to effect upcoming elections in France, the Netherlands.  The axis is working to bring down Angela Merkel in Germany.
Once that alliance is done, we're done.  Look at democracy as it was designed right up the street where I am looking out the window here in Philadelphia, it is finished, because they will go to autocracy, which allows scrapping of democracy- we will be run by an autocratic society.

S:  You're  getting overheated, some say?

M: Chris Matthews can figure things out because he understands politics at a level I don't understand.  I understand how politicians use intelligence.

S:  How can you be overheated about our national security and everything that you just said?

M:  I don't know what's going to happen Monday with this Russia hearing.  We have to, I mean a good example of how deep this Russia thing is- and I'm saying this as an American someone who loves this country from the bottom of my heart.
The ties to Russia here are outrageous, in order of magnitude bigger than anything since secession.
Monica Crowley comes on as National Security Adviser, gets fired, and is now hired by a Russian oligarch yesterday.
Like I said these investigations are coming down to two things:

Enormous financial scandal
Or espionage
Or a combination of both.

S:  What about a select committee?

M:  I think we will come down to a select committee and they'll continue to stall.  The funny part is, any president who had America’s interest at heart, saw that the nation was hurting and needs this out, would be welcoming this and ordering his staff to cooperate.  That's not what we're seeing.
Meanwhile, as this drip drip drip comes out, a little bit on taxes, a little bit on Russia, we're sending as many as 25 hundred new combat troops to Kuwait to possibly go fight in Raqqa, our troops are gathering, we're near Russian forces near Raqqa, are we planning some joint U.S. Russia operation
All I know is as these ties grow deeper, the patriots in the government will call for some form of investigation, that's what we should be pushing for.

S:  This tax leak is obviously from Trump.

M:  Karl Rove school of politics.  Why do you think Russian intelligence hacked the DNC and then a special unit only released it to Gawker.  It's a head thing, pay no attention to the shiny object.  The tax leak came from him, he's famous for this, so what is he trying to mask, that's what we should be looking out for today.
